One of the
best Indian entertainment channel Sony
Entertainment Television now presenting a serial 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra -Maharana Pratap’ based on the historical life
of the Mewar-king Maharana Pratap, one of the first freedom fighters that India
ever saw.
Sneha Rajani, Senior Executive Vice-President and Business Head of Sony Entertainment Television said, “We are massively glad to
exhibit the story of one of the most fabulous Rajput warriors Maharana Pratap, and we make plans to give the
crowd an understanding into his inspirational life. A historical show "Bharat Ka Veer Putra -Maharana Pratap", roused by the life and
times of the 16th century Rajput kingdom
and it will take off soon on Sony
Entertainment Television.
Maharana Pratap had mastered the Mughal army in Dewair and
from this battle onwards Maharana Pratap moved from being protective to
unpleasant and in an exceptionally short time he recovered all the lost place
that is known for Mewar with the
exception of Ajmer and Chittor which he wouldn't be able to
overcome work his death.
Maharana Pratap or Pratap
Singh (May 9, 1540 – January 19, 1597) was the Hindu Rajput Raja of Mewar
in the present day state of Rajasthan in
India. In popular Indian culture,
Pratap is considered as the qualities of bravery and chivalry opposition to the
Mughal emperor Akbar. The Fight
between Rajput academy led by Maharana Pratap Singh, and the Mughal
Empire under Akbar, that was the
struggle between Hindus and the
invading hordes of Muslims, it is
just like the struggle between Shivaji and Aurangzeb a little less than a century later.
Only a name Maharana Pratap, shows glorious and superior
personality, who is the incarnation of courage, bravery, self respect,
patriotism and the spirit of independence. Every India should proud of giving
the world such a legendary warrior. Such a person was ever born in this world
is difficult to believe. I personally feel, words are failed to give a true description
of characteristics which immortalized him to be remembered with due respect and
honor.
Maharana Pratap's
ancestral home Chittorgarh (Chittor fort), was under Mughal occupation. Living a life on the
run, the dream of reconquering Chittor
(and thus reclaiming the glory of Mewar) was significantly esteemed by Pratap, and his future efforts were
bent towards this goal.
On June 21,
1576 (June 18 by other estimations), the two armies met at Haldighati, close to town of Gogunda
in present-day Rajasthan a state of India. While accounts differ
as to the exact strength of the two armies, all sources concur that the Mughal
forces greatly outnumbered Pratap's men. The confrontation of Haldighat is acknowledged to be the
first Major achievement of Rajputs
against the Mughals since the Second
Battle of Khanwa in 1527, which was
battled between Rana Sanga granddad
of Maharana Pratap, and the Mughal Babur granddad of Akbar. It is respected with a level of
essentialness by numerous Rajput
families.
